It has many limitations and don't expect to get your products on the cheap. Many machines are not covered in detail on how to use them in your drawing. Also, when you pic a machine such as a waterjet to cut a hole in 1/8" plate steel, it says that it is compatable in the material library, but wait till you go for pricing and you will see that is not compatable with you material, leading you to choose another material such as aluminum, with most cannot weld. As far as their weld function goes...Try and figure it out.. For all the effort put into emachineshop. They realy need to have better tutorials on the different machines and how to incorporate them into your drawi... The software will give you an instant price and I dropped my jaw when I saw the cost of my simple drawing. Almost 400 dollars to laser cut the piece. Great concept, outrageous pricing.... Review by me: 1. Does not recognise sata drive 2. Emails returned - addressee unknown 3. trying to get payment returned. 4. Recommended? - no chance! (1/5 - 27-Apr-2007) Review by Mark: Way over-rated. Very poorly written users guide. Too much burde on the user to download other software to make Mechanic software start. Very limited capbility - can only handle one drive. No tech support -- phone number provided is fictitious. One job that is running has been going for over 24 hours. Crappy untested junk! The 30-day moneyback guarantee is also worthless - once you have paid, they don't respond. When my hard drive would no longer boot I purchased the Hard Drive Mechanic to try and repair it myself. At first, I couldn't repair my PC and thought the program didn't work. After another try, the Hard Drive Mechanic found FAT errors and partition table damage. Thank God that it fixed the problems automatically because I don't know what I'm doing. The Drive Mechanic is guaranteed to work so I was going to just return it if I couldn't figure it out. Now that I know it works I am keeping it for next time I mess up my computer. (5/5 - 1-Aug-2006) Review by adc: Actually I tried to use the Hard Drive Mechanic again to recover my drive and I am now able to boot up again.
